Connect an AI assistant
Point Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP client at this app and your assistant can read the data your own account is allowed to see.
Step 1: Copy the server URL
https://secureport.online/api/mcpStep 2: Add it to your assistant
Claude
- Open your profile menu and choose Settings.
- Go to Connectors and select "Add custom connector".
- Name the connector (for example "SecurePort"), paste the server URL above, and select Add.
ChatGPT
- Open Apps and turn on Developer mode. ChatGPT warns that developer-mode apps can act with the access you give them, so only enable apps you trust.
- Select "Create app", name it, and paste the server URL above.
- Enable the app from the chat composer before you prompt it.
Cursor
- Open Customize and go to the MCPs tab.
- Select "New MCP Server", which opens the mcp.json file.
- Add an entry whose url is the server URL above, save, and toggle it on.
Custom
- Copy the server URL above.
- In your client, add it as a streamable HTTP MCP server. The name and URL are all most clients need.
- Reload the client so it picks up the new tools.
Google Gemini CLI
- Install the Gemini CLI and confirm it runs.
- Open (or create) the settings file at ~/.gemini/settings.json.
- Add an mcpServers entry pointing at the server URL, then save:
{
"mcpServers": {
"secureport": {
"httpUrl": "https://secureport.online/api/mcp"
}
}
}Step 3: Sign in and approve
On first use, your assistant opens this app's approval page. Sign in with your own app account and approve access. The assistant then acts only as you, and sees only what your account is allowed to see, never anyone else's data.
After we ship changes to the app, refresh or reconnect the connector in your assistant. Assistants cache the tool list and only refresh it when you do.
Only connect assistants you trust. An assistant with your access can read and act on your app data, so review what you approve. Questions? Use the contact form.
